QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING:
2 years data entry experience required. Basic knowledge of Windows based computers required. Written and Oral communication skills with persons of all ages and diverse backgrounds required. Experience with call center environment, Microsoft Office 97 (or higher) Suite, Lotus Notes, preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in Reservations and Scheduling department. Competency Validation in Pre-Certification functional area and either Scheduling or Pre-Registration. Must meet promotion criteria per Skill Blocks.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited school required
PRE-REGISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Serves as primary representative of McLeod Health Reservations & Scheduling, providing patients and families with Preregistration services for outpatient or inpatient procedures provided by McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Medical Center Darlington, McLeod Medical Center Dillon, McLeod Medical Center Cheraw, McLeod Medical Center Clarendon, McLeod Medical Center Loris or McLeod Medical Center Seacoast.
Preregistration services consist of creating the initial patient account, assisting patients with instructions for their scheduled procedures and answering questions regarding the campus and services to the best of their ability.
Preregistration representatives understand that they serve both the external customers of the patients and their families, but also the internal customers of the departments that we service.

SCHEDULING REPRESENTATIVE
The Scheduling Representative provides physicians, patients and families with scheduling services for outpatient or inpatient procedures provided by McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Darlington or McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon, McLeod Health Loris and McLeod Health Seacoast.
Scheduling services consist of initial or new patient scheduling, cancellations of previously scheduled appointments and rebooking appointments as needed. Scheduling representatives understand that they serve both the external customers of the patients and physicians, but also server the internal customers of the departments of all three medical centers.
WORK SCHEDULE 80 hours biweekly as scheduled
SKILLS REQUIRED High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
