    Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Primarily responsible for directing a program of procurement and distribution for supplies, goods and services, excluding drugs, food, and some engineering materials. Ensures all regulatory, institutional, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to, including but not limited to infection control standards, DNV standards, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control regulations, OSHA regulations, etc. Articulates the organization's unique ability to deliver value to the customer while differentiating itself from competitive offerings. Maintains vigilance over applicable markets and their moods. problem solving through the use of A3. Assesses departmental strengths and weaknesses. Evaluates the presence and relative importance of key capabilities. Performs an objective analysis of organizational opportunities to provide a basis for cost reductions. articulates what was learned and quantifies the risk, to include a financial model. Establishes pricing models, schedules, guidelines, and procedures. Determines the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified problem. Where gaps may exist in the current solution, looks for ways to fill the gaps (such as architecture, software, services, devices, components) and uses distinctive and core competencies for guidance. Manages a group of products and services that meet customer needs. Assesses the viability of departmental portfolios, and how its components contribute to corporate strategy and distinctive competence. Articulates organizational and departmental goals and strategies for achieving those goals in an annual plan. Creates and maintains relationship with the key influencers in the market. Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction Ability to clearly communicate and work in team environments IT software development experience managing product planning milestones from business concept through launch. Demonstrated lateral leadership experience. Competency at developing strategies and execution plans for new businesses. Demonstrated ability to manage cross functional project teams. Strategic planning skills. Strong executive presence. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments/results. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (oral and written communication).

    60% in front of customers, 40% internal.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

     

    • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related field.
    • A minimum of seven years of supply chain experience with at least five years supervisory experience. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but other experiences are also acceptable (i.e. consumer supply chain, supply chain or procurement management consulting)
    • Strong record of accomplishment in process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement in complex, interconnected systems.

    • Certification as a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred
