    Enerpac Tool Group is looking for a Senior Global Trade Compliance Analyst. In this role, the individual will be the primary resource and lead for global trade compliance program at European Union and United Kingdom businesses. The person in this role will be responsible for global import/export compliance activities across several businesses and functions in conjunction with U.S. corporate Global Trade Compliance team.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as subject matter expert responsible to faciliate and consultant on trade matters within the region in order to aid in the development and administration of international trade.
    • Oversight and management of daily Customs business activities
    • Support sanctions and embargos programs and restricted/denied party screening resolution
    • Engage with, manage, and audit Customs brokers and other import/export service providers. Work with service providers to establish data collection/management relating to import/export activities.
    • Assign and maintain HS and ECN codes for imported/exported goods in Oracle GTM platform.
    • Determine export control jurisdictions and product classifications. Establish and maintain export compliance controls at business units
    • Apply for and maintain issued export licenses
    • Ensure maintaining all required records per local import/export laws
    • Determine country of origin of manufactured goods. Ensure that country of origin is properly marked at manufacturing locations within region. Maintain country of origin within Oracle.
    • Establish and manage regional free trade agreements including obtaining supplier soliciations to support FTA and other trade compliance related certifications.
    • Monitor import/export compliance activities and international trade data elements in business system(s)
    • Support Customs valuation priorities
    • Deliver trade compliance training to internal customers
    • Identifies areas of improvement and efficacy in current trade compliance program
    • Continually increase knowledge with local and regional trade compliance regulations and report changes that may impact trade compliance program
    • Communicate Corporate Trade Compliance Internal Control Plan and Procedures to site trade advocates.
    • Provide red flag and diversion risk advice to business units
    • Support audits conducted internally and by governmental agencies

    QUALIFICATIONS/CRITERIA

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 7 years experience minimum.
    • Strong international trade compliance knowledge
    • Well-versed in product classifications: with direct experience in multiple chapters of the harmonized system of tariff classifications and export control (dual-use and defense) classifications
    • Export controls knowledge and direct experience obtaining and managing export licenses (European countries)
    • Direct experience and knowledge of European sanctions, embargoes, denied party, and restricted party actions
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong-independent contributor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledgeable in international trade law, regulations, and applicable governmental agencies
    • Able to effectively communicate in English
