HOURS: 7am - 5pm
SUMMARY – BASIC FUNCTION OF THE ROLE
Responsible for fabrication of rope assemblies, rope splicing, press operation and sling testing and inspection.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES - identify the competencies that are most critical for success in the role __
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Ability to read and understand patterns and prints
Ability to read a tape measure
Flexibility to rotate shifts as required
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; maintain effective working relationships
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 6+ months of manufacturing experience and rope assembly preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primary work environment is non-temperature controlled workshop/manufacturing facility where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to heavy levels of noise in workshop.
