    Job Description

    With 19 service centers nationwide, McNICHOLS CO. is North America’s leading supplier and fabricator of “Hole Products,” including Perforated and Expanded Metals, Wire Mesh and Designer Metals, as well as a complete line of Metal Grating and Flooring Products.

    We have an exciting opportunity for an INSIDE SALES MANAGER to join our Hole team. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading an inside sales team in achieving established financial and service performance objectives in a high-volume commercial sales environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans and steps to penetrate markets
    • Drives achievement of company metrics including customer service, sales revenue, gross profit margin, invoice, and inquiry counts.
    • Monitors and developments individual team member metrics for effective sales leads and growth.
    • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on market conditions while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
    • Maintains regional sales reporting including accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
    • Assists sales team in preparation and pricing of opportunities, terms and conditions.
    • Work with Field Sales Managers to assist in driving sales and improved customer service.
    • Promote value added services and other company promotional programs to create selling opportunities. Ensures orders, opportunities, invoices, correspondence and other paperwork are accurate and adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other business units including Marketing, Field Sales, Operations, Supply.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
    • Experience leading, developing, and successfully coaching a sales team
    • 3-5 years of business-to-business inside sales
    • Experience in manufacturing or distribution with acumen for inventory status, lead-times, logistics, work orders, etc.
    • Strong mathematics skills with the ability to understand technical specifications
    • Excellent service and problem solving skills, ability to identify solutions for successful outcomes
    • Capacity to develop enthusiastic sales professionals to achieve service and sales goals
    • Ability to work in a high volume environment balancing short-term and long-term pipelines.
