Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join our USDA PROCESSING FACILITY team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting meat to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified. The Meat Cutter’s goal is to work safely and efficiently to produce products in a timely manor according to customer spec.
Responsibilities
Safe cutting practices, at all times
Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipment
Package Meat using processing equipment
Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high quality
Follow high standards of sanitation and quality control
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age
High school diploma/GED required
Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools
Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 50lbs+
