Job Summary
The best shop to work in and we have a spot available, along with a sign-on bonus!
We are a busy, full-service, all-makes repair shop that prides itself on taking good care of our techs. We pay $800-$1900 per week depending on your skill set and volume of output. (And yes, our advanced techs really do make that much.)
Our auto technicians work 5 days a week with one day off during the week and Sundays off, with paid vacations after the first year. Schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an hour for lunch (although we close at 4 on Saturdays). For this position, you must work Saturdays.
Our technicians perform oil changes and diagnose engine, electrical, suspension, alignment, brake, and a/c problems with all makes and models of cars and light trucks and then performing the repairs. We provide scanners and databases such as Alldata and pay for any desired training. Our senior techs will help out with tough jobs. As you demonstrate that you can do higher-level diag's & repairs, we'll increase your pay. If you're interested in racing, you may also be occasionally asked to work on the boss's race car (not mandatory).
We offer health insurance, match your 401k contributions up to 5% of your income, pay for holidays, and pay occasional other bonuses to reward team performance. We also can help with tool purchases.
This technician position does not routinely interact with customers, and you will not have to supervise any other employees. Our techs consider themselves part of a team and routinely help each other out. There is no cut-throat competition for labor hours.
We pay a base hourly wage for every hour you are here, PLUS flag labor pay on top of that.
