    Job Summary:

    Cinder Residuals Texas is seeking a dependable and hard-working Mechanic Laborer to support plant and maintenance operations at our Fairfield, TX facility. This entry-level position performs a variety of manual labor and general mechanical tasks throughout the facility. The Mechanic Laborer assists skilled technicians, performs basic mechanical repairs, and helps keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and operational.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Assist maintenance and technicians with repairs, inspections, and equipment upkeep

    · Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, moving materials, and handling tools

    · Load and unload tools, parts, and supplies for maintenance work

    · Support mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, replacing filters, and applying lubricants

    · Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

    · Clean and organize maintenance shops and work areas

    · Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to supervisors

    · Complete assigned tasks efficiently and maintain basic work records

    · Support other Site Operations at the request of immediate Supervisor or Plant Manager

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    · High school diploma or GED preferred

    · Previous experience in industrial, mechanical, or maintenance work preferred, but not required

    · Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team

    · Ability to use basic tools and equipment safely

    · Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    · Work is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards

    · May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery

    · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks

    · Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function

    · PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed
