Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our busy shop. As mechanic in both fuel and diseal, you will need to diagnos and repair issues with vehicles’ performance and schedule routine mainteance to fleet.

As Shop Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining a clean organized environment.

The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with owner, able to explain vehicle issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop

Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements

Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes

Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner

Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required

Automotive service technician training program is preferred

Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred

Bilingual
