About Us R&D Landscape is a growing landscape company serving Mid-Michigan with lawn maintenance, landscape construction, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and snow management services. We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to help maintain our fleet and equipment while supporting the continued growth of our operations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles and landscape equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, mowers, and equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, gasoline, and electrical systems.

Maintain repair records and maintenance schedules.

Coordinate repairs and parts ordering as needed.

Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with snow equipment maintenance during winter operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous mechanical repair experience required.

Experience with fleet vehicles, landscape equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, or small engines preferred.

Valid Driver's License required.

Chauffeur's License preferred.

DOT Medical Card preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift tools, equipment, and repair components.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the day.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
