Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanic Shop Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, strong technical mechanical capabilities, and previous management experience.

Every day is different in our busy Aircraft Disassembly Shop! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including overseeing service Disassembly Mechanics, Planning Disassembly projects, and completing required quality records.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Aircraft Disassembly Mechanics to ensure a high level of employee morale and Shop Quality while maintaining productivity

Ensure Aircraft Disassembly is done in a safe manner

Mentor employees on best mechanical practices and Quality Processes

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Aircraft Disassembly Department

Manage the balance of priorities for incoming aircraft pending disassembly, Part Removal requests, and normal planned Aircraft parts processing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred

Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening

At least two years of experience supervising Mechanics is required. Experience as an A&P Mechanic is preferred but not required.
