About Us
Georgia Landscape Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic Small Engine and Fleet to support our landscaping operations in the Metro Atlanta area. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment used throughout daily operations.
We are looking for a mechanically skilled individual who can troubleshoot problems, think independently, and help keep our crews operating efficiently and safely.

Pay
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule
Full-time
Seasonal scheduling adjustments may occur
Four-day winter schedule available during slower months
Additional hours may be available during peak season
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair landscaping equipment and fleet vehicles
Perform maintenance on:
mowers
weed eaters
blowers
trucks
trailers
Bobcats
heavy equipment
Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
Complete preventative maintenance services
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Assist with inventory and parts coordination
Help maintain a safe and organized shop environment
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of mechanic experience preferred
Experience with both small engines and fleet/truck maintenance preferred
Welding and fabrication experience required
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
Must provide standard personal mechanic tools necessary to perform job duties
Landscape industry mechanic experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform the essential job functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation. Duties may include lifting heavy equipment parts, standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, using mechanic tools, and working in indoor and outdoor environments.
