    Job Description

    Filtrex Service Group is on the lookout for a licensed Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Individual to join our dynamic team in Tulsa, OK (and surrounding areas) on a contracted basis with competitive pay starting at $35/hr.

    Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contractor with a specialty in HVAC/R to join our team on a contractual basis. This role will focus on installations for a high-profile, national client with large-scale mechanical needs. The ideal candidate will work with a team and internal staff to execute full-scope HVAC/R installations efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with a team and company technicians to complete project scopes

    Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and specifications

    Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations

    Utilize proper tools, equipment, and methods for efficient and safe installations

    Communicate clearly with project managers, site supervisors, and team members

    Complete job documentation, including installation reports and photos, as required

    Qualifications:

    Valid HVAC contractor’s license or appropriate mechanical license (state-specific)

    Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience, preferably in commercial or industrial environments

    Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping, ventilation, and controls

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

    OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

    Must have own tools, reliable transportation, and necessary safety gear

    Ability to work out of town for multi-day projects (travel and lodging provided)

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience leading installation crews or supervising job sites

    Familiarity with large client protocols and working in secure or high-visibility facilities

    EPA Universal Certification a plus
