MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER for full time Design/Fabrication company in N. Ft Worth, seeking preferably degreed A.B.S. Engineer with 10 year’s work experience, knowledge of food conveying industry would be a beneficial. We design, fabricate and install custom food processing equipment for major food plants.

• You must have extensive knowledge and proficiency using Product Design and Manufacturing Collection, specifically Inventor and Auto Cad this is essential in order to be chosen for an interview.

• Utilize Auto Cad software and 3D Modeling software to create technical drawings and 3D renderings for internal and external usage, providing clear instructions for fabrication and installation.

• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations and company guidelines.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with structural weldments and sheet metal design along with strong understanding of basic GD&T.

• Ability to bring products from a conceptual design into manufacturing, managing timelines, quality control and cross department collaboration.

• Properly label and store parts and their assemblies in their correct location.

• Communicate with other engineering staff and team members.

• Properly understand and implement sanitary designs into assemblies.

• Ability to work multiple small projects at one time, multitask different assemblies.

• Properly make corrections on design reviews prior to fabrication of designed units.

• Manage the creation and maintenance of bill of materials and support documents for individual and collaborative projects.

• Provide ownership and attention to detail with commitment to producing high quality work.

• Experience in sanitary welding and manufacturing is preferred. Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
