• Starting Salary: $75,000
• Overtime: No, this is an exempt position.
• Workweek: Monday – Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Payment Days: Bi-Weekly Payment Type: Direct deposit.

Job Duties:

• Design Medical Trailer using CAD Software. Involves Basic Electrical, HVAC and other mechanical, and simple structural/spatial considerations. The project also entails project management and quality control for the Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create custom designs and layouts for mobile medical trailers, including slide-outs and structural frames
• Prepare quotations and project documentation in collaboration with the operations team
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to translate designs into manufacturable solutions
• Support the introduction of systems to improve operations, such as ERP tools for costing and scheduling
• Interface directly with the CEO and shop manager to align design efforts with strategic goals
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, cleanliness, and safety standards, particularly for healthcare use
• Participate in modernization efforts across the shop, fostering efficiency and quality
• Grow with the business, taking on more technical, managerial, or operational responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineer, Biomedical Engineer or related field (new graduates welcome)
• Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Practical, hands-on mindset with willingness to learn from experienced shop staff
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Interest in improving workflows and implementing new technologies
• Understanding of trailer fabrication or custom vehicle design is a plus
• Knowledge of healthcare environments or clean construction standards is an asset

• Drug Test? Yes, selected candidate must be able to pass a Drug Test, coordinated by the recruitment company, before departure from place of recruitment.
• English Level Requirement: Medium B2- C1 Reading, Writing, Conversational
• Must attend safety meetings? Yes
• Drivers license required: Preferred, but not obligatory.
• Academic Credentials: Engineering Degree.Mechanical Engineer, Biomedical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Industrial Engineer.
