    We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer proficient in SolidWorks to help design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes, ensuring that designs meet all functional, performance, and aesthetic requirements. Responsibilities: • Develop and design 3D models using SolidWorks for mechanical components and assemblies. • Create detailed 2D technical drawings, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. • Working with engineers and other team members to refine designs and ensure they will meet requirements. • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as required. • Performing design analysis and simulations, and potentially conducting prototype testing to verify functionality and safety. • Creating and maintaining detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing. • Ensuring designs comply with company and industry standards, regulations, and building codes. • Continuously improve design processes and standards for efficiency and quality. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production. • Identify and resolve design issues, ensuring solutions meet performance and safety requirements. • Stay up to date with the latest SolidWorks tools and design trends to implement best practices. Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities: • Computer Aided Design (CAD) • SolidWorks • GD&T • Design review • Project documentation • Project management • Technical specification design • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team • Mechanical drawing • Attention to detail Preferred Skills/Abilities: • Mechanical Engineering • Mechanical troubleshooting • Design Engineering • Design optimization • Functional specification • Product development in manufacturing • Prototyping • Sheet metal fabrication/manufacturing Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field • 2–4 Years of related experience • Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks • Knowledge of engineering principles, material science, and manufacturing processes. • Strong understanding of mechanical design, tolerancing, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) • Experience with design analysis, simulations, and CAD modeling. • Experience with PDM systems (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) is a plus Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to use tools and controls • Ability to see details at a distance, distinguish colors and brightness.
