We’re looking for a creative and detail-driven Mechanical Designer to join our Product Development team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving complex design challenges, and want to make a real impact on innovative products, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Design and document mechanical components and assemblies using CREO (ProEngineer)
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and improve products
- Create detailed drawings with precise dimensioning, tolerancing, and fit/function specs
- Maintain accurate product structures and BOMs in the ERP system
- Participate in prototype builds, testing, and reporting
- Communicate with vendors and customers to gather design input
- Follow engineering procedures and ISO standards throughout the development process

Required Skills
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design Technology
- 5–10 years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting; CREO experience preferred
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, stamping, and machining
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer/vendor collaboration
You’ll Stand Out If You Have
- Experience with RFQs and sourcing
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ETO environment
