Our customer is looking for an experienced designer/drafter to join their growing team. This person will be in a niche industry, so they are happy to train someone. 

The ideal candidate will be a mechanical drafter but needs to have an understanding of electrical, energy or utilities. They use AutoCAD but any 2D software is transferrable.

Responsibilities:

• Creates technical drawings or designs for equipment, structures, electronics, and processes.
• Coordinates with Engineering to ensure the accuracy and usability of plant design documents.
• Reads, interprets, and applies information from manufacturer’s drawings, catalogs, and other information in creating design documents.
