    Mechanical Engineer

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and development of industrial mechanical products. This role plays a key part in bringing engineered solutions from concept through production, working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, applications engineering, and procurement.

    The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in both analytical and practical environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Design & Development

    • Develop and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings

    • Design components and assemblies for performance under internal and external loading conditions

    • Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles

    • Perform engineering calculations to validate structural integrity and product performance

    • Support design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

    Engineering Analysis

    • Conduct structural and stress analysis using hand calculations and finite element modeling (FEA)

    • Perform flow and performance evaluations using fluid dynamics principles and simulation tools (CFD preferred)

    • Evaluate metallic and non-metallic materials for compatibility with chemicals, temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions

    Documentation & Change Management

    • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)

    • Manage engineering changes and maintain accurate technical documentation

    • Generate and maintain part numbers and engineering records within company systems

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Provide technical support to manufacturing to ensure efficient production and assembly

    • Partner with purchasing on technical specifications and sourcing requirements

    • Support applications and sales teams with technical documentation and product information

    • Assist in product testing and research & development initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline

    • Experience with 3D CAD software and engineering drawing standards

    • Working knowledge of GD&T principles

    • Experience with structural analysis and finite element modeling

    • Understanding of fluid mechanics and performance analysis (CFD experience preferred)

    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
