POSITION TITLE: Mechanical Engineer

LOCATION: Pasadena, TX

SUMMARY: Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to provide technical leadership and help build and grow its mechanical engineering discipline in Houston.

DUTIES AND RESPONABLITIES:

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical engineering projects, particularly within power generation and industrial facilities
• Lead engineering efforts involving rotating equipment, piping systems, pipe stress, boilers, generators, and related mechanical systems
• Apply ASME B31.3 and other applicable B31 piping codes
• Support engineering for combined-cycle power plants, utilities, industrial energy facilities, and related infrastructure
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior and mid-level engineers
• Help recruit, develop, and build the mechanical engineering group as workload grows
• Interface directly with clients and participate in technical presentations and project meetings
• Support proposals, pursuits, project backlog development, and client relationship management
• Maintain hands-on technical involvement while providing discipline-level leadership

   

  EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION:
  

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Ideally 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Exceptional candidates with approximately 10–12+ years of highly relevant experience may be considered
• Strong background in power generation, EPC, utilities, or industrial engineering
• Experience with combined-cycle plants, boilers, generators, rotating equipment, piping, and pipe stress
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and applicable piping codes
• Power infrastructure supporting data centers is highly desirable
• Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring engineers
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Ability and interest in helping build and grow an engineering discipline
