We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support full-cycle product development for powertrain assembly and automation systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that brings custom machine designs from concept to manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating innovative solutions across product lines and project scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design custom machinery and automation systems supporting automotive assembly
Develop engineering documentation including design specifications, proposal packages, and BOMs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quoting, procurement, and vendor coordination
Participate in design reviews and assist with continuous improvements during the product lifecycle
Provide technical support for manufacturing, troubleshooting, and post-installation processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or related field
3–5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within automotive or industrial automation
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of mechanical systems including motion, structural integrity, and thermal design
Experience supporting proposal development and quoting processes
Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Knowledge of fabrication and assembly best practices
