Position Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building mechanical systems and HVAC design, with experience developing engineering plans and construction documents for commercial, healthcare, education, residential, or mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

Design HVAC and mechanical systems for building projects.

Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing.

Develop mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Design ductwork, piping, and other HVAC systems.

Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical design and documentation.

Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines.

Assist with site visits, field surveys, and construction administration.

Review project requirements and applicable building codes.

Qualifications

3–5 years of mechanical engineering/design experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

EIT preferred but not required.

PE license is a plus.

Strong HVAC design experience.

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of applicable building codes and mechanical standards.

Strong communication and project coordination skills.
