    About the Opportunity

    We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in HVAC and building systems design to join our collaborative engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and renewable energy projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings
    • Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection
    • Create and review mechanical system layouts, ductwork, and piping designs
    • Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams to deliver integrated MEP solutions
    • Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
    • Support energy-efficient and sustainable design initiatives, including renewable and solar-integrated systems
    • Conduct site visits and construction observations to ensure quality and design compliance
    • Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and cost estimates
    • Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines, budgets, and quality standards

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • 3–5 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical design for commercial or institutional projects
    • E.I.T. certification preferred; P.E. license is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, duct design, and hydronic systems
    • Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, building codes, and energy efficiency practices
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM experience preferred)
    • Experience with load calculation software (e.g., Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, RHVAC)
    • Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
    • Interest in sustainable engineering, energy efficiency, and practical system design
