About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in HVAC and building systems design to join our collaborative engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection
- Create and review mechanical system layouts, ductwork, and piping designs
- Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams to deliver integrated MEP solutions
- Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
- Support energy-efficient and sustainable design initiatives, including renewable and solar-integrated systems
- Conduct site visits and construction observations to ensure quality and design compliance
- Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and cost estimates
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical design for commercial or institutional projects
- E.I.T. certification preferred; P.E. license is a plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, duct design, and hydronic systems
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, building codes, and energy efficiency practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM experience preferred)
- Experience with load calculation software (e.g., Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, RHVAC)
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Interest in sustainable engineering, energy efficiency, and practical system design
