About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in HVAC and building systems design to join our collaborative engineering team. This role is ideal for engineers with a background in MEP consulting or building systems engineering who are interested in contributing to sustainable, high-performance designs across a variety of project types.
You’ll work on a diverse range of projects including commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and renewable energy applications—playing a key role in the design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing
- Develop ductwork, piping, and ventilation system layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams to deliver integrated MEP solutions
- Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
- Support energy-efficient and sustainable design initiatives, including renewable and solar-integrated systems
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation to ensure design intent is met
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC or MEP design for commercial or institutional buildings
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, hydronic piping, and ventilation design
- Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy efficiency best practices
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience with load calculation software (e.g., Trane TRACE, HAP, RHVAC) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
- EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure preferred
