Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
Generate budgets
Interface with vendors
Create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
Develop, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and purchasing
Collaborate with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and machine shop to support machine builds and resolve design issues
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
Familiarity with CAD or other related software Solidworks a must
Deadline and detail-oriented
Experience in conveyor design
Experience in heating/cooling systems
