About the Role:

We're hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team focused on developing next-generation hydropower systems that help shape a more sustainable energy future. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for renewable energy innovation—from early-stage design to full-scale deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and test mechanical components for hydropower systems—from concept through mass production.
• Develop system architectures and integrate components with electrical and software elements.
• Create and review engineering drawings, calculations, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Source sustainable materials, components, and vendors to meet project needs.
• Build and test functional prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and iterate designs.
• Qualify new products and work closely with manufacturing to transition designs to production.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required (fluid dynamics experience strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proficient in CAD tools—Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering workflows and data management systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in renewable energy, hydropower, or energy systems.
• Experience with DFM/DFA and scaling hardware designs for production.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and eco-conscious design principles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
