    Wright Technical Services is assisting a Fortune 500 client in filling an opening for an experienced Mechanical Plant Engineer. This role involves designing, maintaining, and enhancing manufacturing equipment and infrastructure across several facilities.

     

    As a Mechanical Plant Engineer, you will be crucial in executing projects, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, quality, and productivity standards. This position offers a chance to contribute to operational sustainability and growth.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    \- Collaborate with teams to execute capital projects in manufacturing facilities.

    \- Manage mechanical project aspects, including design, documentation, installation, and support.

    \- Develop solutions to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

    \- Create and maintain essential documentation for engineering and maintenance use.

    \- Design solutions that meet environmental and safety standards.

    \- Provide cost estimates and project timelines to ensure successful execution.

    \- Source and evaluate equipment quotations for compliance.

    \- Offer technical support to Production and Maintenance teams.

    \- Coordinate with process engineering and supply management departments.

    \- Collaborate with external engineering and construction teams.

    \- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations.

    \- Take on additional tasks as directed in alignment with strategic goals.

     

    Education & Experience:

     

    \- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

    \- Strong ownership and results-oriented mindset.

    \- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    \- Good judgment, self-motivation, and commitment to safety.

    \- Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.

    \- Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments.

    \- Hands-on capability and collaborative approach on the shop floor.

    \- Proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably Solid Edge or AutoCAD.

  • Compensation
    $85,000-$125,000 per year
