WE’RE HIRING – MECHANICAL FITTER

Basis North America is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a short-term project supporting an LM2500 engine swap at the Valero Wilmington Refinery in Wilmington, California.

Project Dates: October 12–19, 2026 Location: Wilmington, California

Compensation:

Regular Rate: $40/hour

Overtime Rate: $60/hour

Per Diem: $60/day

Hotel, flight, and rental car covered according to project conditions

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter in industrial, refinery, power generation, or rotating equipment projects

Experience with mechanical installation, removal, assembly, and maintenance activities

Valid TWIC card

Must meet applicable project background/DISA requirements

Candidates must bring their own required hand tools to the job site
