    About the Role
    We’re partnering with a mechanical contractor in Sacramento to hire a Project Manager with deep expertise in commercial and industrial plumbing systems. This client-facing role oversees all phases of project delivery—from estimating and design coordination to procurement, execution, and closeout.

    You’ll manage financials, field coordination, and team alignment while ensuring quality workmanship, code compliance, and on-time delivery. This is a leadership role suited for someone who brings strong communication, technical expertise, and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to project management.

    Note: Candidates without direct experience managing large commercial or industrial plumbing projects will not be considered.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead plumbing projects from pursuit through closeout

    • Oversee estimating, contract development, procurement, and field labor planning

    • Manage project financials including forecasting, billing, and cost control

    • Ensure code compliance and quality workmanship across plumbing installations

    • Coordinate with field teams, engineers, clients, and subcontractors

    • Conduct kickoff meetings, site walks, and stakeholder updates

    • Support team development through training, mentoring, and recruiting

    • Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction

    What You Bring:

    • 5+ years managing commercial or industrial plumbing projects

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)

    • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems: potable water, waste, drainage, and venting

    • Experience with institutional, government, or high-rise building types

    • Familiarity with ADA, energy-efficient systems, and water filtration

    • Excellent communication and multitasking skills

    • Proactive and collaborative work style

    • Involvement in industry or professional organizations (preferred)
