Seeking a proactive & experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our growing beauty manufacturing facility. This role will oversee a small team of mechanical operators during a single production shift, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reducing equipment downtime. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, improvement-oriented and capable of elevating team performance while supporting operational scale-up. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise and mentor a team of 3 mechanical operators during day shift operations -Identify skill gaps and lead training initiatives to build a more capable, responsive maintenance team -Promote a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement -Oversee and enhance the preventive maintenance (PM) program for all critical equipment, including tanks, DI water systems and tube/bottle/jar filling machines -Lead root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence -Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records using a CMMS or manual tracking system -Provide hands-on support in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues quickly and efficiently -Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance -Support process scale-up activities by ensuring mechanical systems can meet increased production demands -Monitor equipment performance trends and propose upgrades or process changes to improve reliability and efficiency -Assist in planning and executing minor capital improvements or equipment installations -Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA< GMP and internal safety policies -Lead safety audits and risk assessments related to mechanical operations -Technical degree, certification or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or related field -Familiarity with pumps, mixers, water systems, conveyors and packaging lines -Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
