    Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

    Location: Kansas City, KS

    Wages: $25-$29 hourly

    Tech You'll Master: Conveyor networks, robotic workstations, PLC field devices, VFDs, sensors (photo eyes, encoders, proximity), pneumatics, safety interlocks, and CMMS tracking.

    Responsibilities:

    Structured troubleshooting to restore failed robotic and automation systems

    Full technical ownership of critical assets and zones

    Planned + corrective maintenance with spot-on documentation

    Spotting patterns, driving reliability improvements, and feeding insights to engineering

    Keeping spares, tools, and test gear ready

    You'll own your equipment zones, hunt down repeat failures, recommend smart upgrades, and thrive in the adrenaline of rapid-response repairs during live operations. Work hands-on inside control panels, on energized equipment (with strict safety protocols), and alongside teams where every minute counts.

    Required:

    High school diploma/GED

    1+ years hands-on industrial/automation maintenance

    Proven electrical + mechanical troubleshooting skills

    Ability to read schematics/drawings

    Physically able (lift 50 lbs, work at heights)

    US work authorization (no sponsorship)

    Preferred:

    Technical degree in mechatronics/robotics/electrical

    2+ years with automated/robotic equipment

    PLC, drives, sensors experience

    CMMS and industrial electrical safety training
