    COMPENSATION

    Base: $115,000--$125,000

Total Compensation: $125,000--$145,000+ (base + average bonus; origination credit is additional)

    WHY THIS ROLE

This is the deepest medical malpractice defense bench in northern New England, at a firm that has been one of New Hampshire's most respected institutions for well over a century. The firm holds Chambers USA recognition in Medical Malpractice & Insurance Defense, national Best Law Firms recognition, and has been named one of New Hampshire's top workplaces by a leading state business publication -- the only law firm to receive that distinction. You'd join as a senior associate with immediate case ownership, a clear and actively supported path to partnership, a performance bonus that averages $10K and has reached $20K, and 5% origination credit from the start. For a med mal defense attorney who wants to actually build a practice in New Hampshire rather than manage files for someone else's, this is a serious platform.

    \-------------------------------------------------------------

    ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll independently manage a full caseload of complex medical malpractice defense claims: taking depositions, retaining and working with medical experts, handling court appearances, and drafting dispositive motions. Adjacent healthcare matters -- licensing and risk management -- are also part of the mix. You'll communicate directly with insurer-clients and collaborate across the firm to build internal relationships.

    \-------------------------------------------------------------
