    If you are a compassionate, loving, and caring person then this is the job for you! Join our amazing team to provide excellent care to our residents. Your job will be to addminister medication to the residents. Job duties include

    • Work with a variety of residents, such as the physically disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and elderly
    • Remind residents to take medication
    • Sets up and administers medications as ordered by a physician and under the supervision of the delegating nurse.
    • Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).
    • Takes and records at predetermined intervals vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and blood pressure, measures intake. Collects sputum, urine, and stool, discharge drainage and other specimens as ordered.
    • Completes incident reports for any incidents occurred on assigned shift. Supports resident care plan.
    • Facilitates and/or participates in resident group activities and resident care conferences.
    • Engages residents in meaningful conversation and activities related to their individual interests.
    • Maintains professional approach to responsibilities (uniform, start times, absenteeism, confidentiality, communication with residents, family members, other staff members and vendors, and daily work responsibilities).
    • Supports new resident welcome and assimilation process.
    • Monitors residents for changes in condition and reports changes to delegating nurse.
    • Assists with resident room, bathroom, and common area cleanliness, and other housekeeping duties as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Medication Technition Requirements and Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Experience as a caregiver a plus
    • Attend trainings
    • Knowledgeable in basic emergency and safety techniques
    • Be in good physical condition
    • Reliable transportation
