Job Title: Med-Tech Assisted Living (1st Shift)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Tech to join our Assisted Living team for the 1st Shift. As a Med-Tech, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing top-notch medical and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to residents in a timely and accurate manner according to established procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of medication administration and resident interactions.
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with daily activities of living, including grooming, bathing, and mobility support as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care that meets each resident's individual needs.
- Respect and uphold each resident’s rights to privacy, dignity, and independence.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with medical and technological advancements.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:

- Certified Medication Technician (Med-Tech) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
- Must be able to work the 1st shift schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
