Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-tech to join our assisted living team for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and comfort of our residents by administering medications, monitoring health statuses, and providing general assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and care plans.
- Monitor and document residents’ responses to medications, noting any adverse reactions and reporting them to healthcare providers.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal assistance, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care activities and medication administration.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Uphold the principles of dignity, privacy, and respect while interacting with residents and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Medication Technician/Med-tech, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an assisted living or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Must be available to work 2nd shift hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
