    CLAIMS SUPPORT OPERATOR This is an IN-OFFICE position in Cornelius, NC.

    Hours hiring for:

    Mon - Fri 9 AM - 6 PM, OR 

    Mon - Fri 8 AM - 5 PM

Audio and video consultations are facilitated through the company's proprietary technology platform. Services are provided via the web or iOS and android applications 24/7 365.

    JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    THE CLAIMS SUPPORT OPERATOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANSWERING CALLS AND ASSISTING INJURED WORKERS IN GATHERING INFORMATION ON CLAIM STATUS AND OTHER CLAIM RELATED INQUIRIES. THE JOB WILL PRIMARILY CONSIST OF COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY OVER THE TELEPHONE AND DOCUMENTING THE OUTCOME OF EACH CALL. ALL OPERATORS WORK OUT OF A CALL CENTER IN CORNELIUS, NC.     · Familiarize self with worker's compensation regulations related to client needs.

    · Understand and adapt to client needs for work related incidents

    · Answer claim inquiries and provide appropriate information for caller

    · Handle multiple phone lines

    · Notate the outcome of each caller inquiry and the resolution of that call

    · Data Entry

    · Quality control of reporting

    · Strong emphasis on client care and customer service

    · Experience with Microsoft Office

    · Effectively deliver solutions to clients and assist in the reporting process

    · Keep current with product and business process knowledge

    · Complete other tasks as assigned in a timely manner

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT A BONUS):

    · Working knowledge of basic medical terms is a plus

    · Medical Terminology is a plus

    COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

    Pay from: $16/hr

    Holiday hours paid time and a half (volunteer basis for working hours)

    PTO for sick/Personal days
