Medical Director of Hospice

We are pioneering a unique approach that combines pre-hospice care with a proprietary patient identification algorithm to offer comprehensive end-of-life solutions. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of our patients and their families.

Who You Are:

• A licensed MD in Illinois with at least 3 years of experience caring for elderly patients and at least 1 year of experience performing hospice work.
• Profoundly knowledgeable about the unique challenges and opportunities in hospice care, with experience in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
• Passionate about enhancing end-of-life care, demonstrating resilience, energy, and a positive outlook.

What You'll Do:

• Lead as the first physician and the clinical face of our organization, facilitating weekly IDT meetings at the Warrenville location, offering flexibility in your schedule within operational hours.
• Occasionally, you will be responsible for prescribing emergency scripts via phone, ensuring patients receive necessary care promptly.
• Act as a key figure for our organization and establishing our presence in the community.

This role offers a flexible schedule of about 20 hours per month, paired with generous compensation reflecting the limited commitment yet critical impact of this position.
