Currently seeking Pediatric Ambulatory Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract position in San Francisco, CA. This is a contract assignment with 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a current CA Nursing License and have at least 2 years of recent Ambulatory US experience as an RN.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE AMBULATORY REGISTERED NURSE (RN):

1. Current Resume
2. CA Nursing License
3. A nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
4. Experience as an Ambulatory RN
5. Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
6. Two current clinical references
7. Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening
8. Knowledge of state and federal regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AMBULATORY REGISTERED NURSE (RN):

1. Perform independent comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging in support of primary care providers within the behavioral health arena.
2. Communicate with providers regarding determinations and situations, documents events appropriately.
3. Monitor or ensure the monitoring of patients pre, during and post-procedure per established protocols.
4. Ensure staff compliance with maintenance of competency folders in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards.
5. Ensure nursing staff competencies are initially evaluated and maintained and documented in accordance with hospital and clinic policies and nursing standards of practice
