    We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team and provide quality care to our patients at the Yamhill County Correctional Facility. This correctional facility houses both male and female inmates and provides the following services: medical and dental care, a commissary, social and educational programs, as well as drug and alcohol and psychological counseling.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following areas: medical-surgical, telemetry, primary care, urgent care, clinic, and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. Our Nurses are expected to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

    Schedules:

    • 6 PM - 6:30 AM
    • 6 AM - 6:30 PM
    • No on-call requirements
    • Full time or PRN

    Qualifications:

    • MUST have Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through American Red Cross or American Heart Association – MUST have completed an in-person skills check off.
    • MUST have a minimum of one year of experience
    • MUST have a valid, unrestricted Oregon license

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient settings.
    • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
    • Perform nursing assessments and interventions to ensure quality patient care.
    • Document patient progress and treatments in the medical record.
    • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
    • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
    • Monitor vital signs and adjust treatments accordingly.
