    Job Description

    • Collaborate with our Android team in realizing the product vision and satisfying business requirements.
    • Implement Android architecture designs for SDK and App development teams.
    • Utilize our CI/CL solution in GitLab for Android
    • Follow best practices established via process documentation
    • Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years working experience in Android development or a combination of education and experience
    • HS Diploma or equivalent, Sixth Year/Sixth Form College, Upper-Secondary
    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
    • C++, Java, Kotlin Node.js
    • Travel as required

    Additional Information

    • Experience in native Android app development
    • Experience in Agile methodologies
    • Experience with Github/Gitlab
    • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
    • Strong drive for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
    • Demonstrate communication skills required to work closely with colleagues, and our QA team
    • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
    • Demonstrated experience designing robust software components
    • Experience following latest Android best practices, patterns and recommendations
    • Experience developing SDKs
    • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
    • NoSQL databases (esp. MongoDB)
