  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Manage the development and releases of new versions of Medable’s products.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
    • Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
    • Oversee all aspects of projects
    • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project
    • Enforce Medable's software development concepts, practices and procedures
    • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Lead and direct the work of others
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Leverage in Agile methodologies to improve processes and deliver value
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-7+ years of experience in Product Management or a combination of education and experience in this area
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical interface specifications in partnership with technical peers.
    • Ability to extract requirements from third party API documentation.
    • Ability to concisely explain why a product prioritization decision is made.
    • Ability to identify opportunities to improve business results via technical decisions in partnership with technical peers.
    • Ability to delegate portions of documentation activities while retaining high quality and accountability. 
    • Ability to complete all appropriate sections of compliance documentation (e.g. ISO SaMD) as required for product management
    • Deep understanding of identifying and filling product gaps, generating new ideas that grow market share, improving customer experience and driving growth
    • Ability to mentor new members in the product and engineering teams
    • Ability to solely manage a product through regulation with your
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field required
    • Masters Degree preferred
