Job Description

We seek a full-time Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team! Interviews will be conducted by phone and Zoom. You will work remotely from your home office. Minimum of three years bookkeeping experience is required. Accounting / Finance college degree is NOT required. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, recording general ledger business transactions for our multi-entity organization, accounting reconciliations, work paper preparation, and prepare & post journal entries. The job requires the ability to handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office is a must, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staff accounting / bookkeeping duties
• Record company business transactions into GL
• Bank, credit card, GL and other account reconciliations
• Work paper preparation
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in accounting - Minimum 3 years
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles & standard accounting processes
• Proficient in QuickBooks desktop preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
