    Job Description

    Medella Springs Healthcare is currently seeking a dynamic leader to fill the role of President.  This position is based in West Chester, OH and is critical to our organization as the company is experiencing significant growth, which requires expansion of our leadership team. The President will lead strategic planning and operations, and manage key relationships (accounts, vendors, partners, suppliers, physicians and pharmacists) for Medella Springs.  This position is the primary leader of operations  for the company and will establish performance parameters for all levels of the organization. 

    This President sets the example for the entire company, including: areas of personal character, work ethic, commitment, and organizational leadership.  The President is responsible for communications, provides executive coaching, motivation, and counseling as necessary to achieve company objectives.  The President will be responsible for accounting, payroll, IT, personnel, legal and professional, security, contracts and negotiations. The President will report directly to the CEO of Medella Springs Healthcare.

     RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Oversight, management, recruiting, performance, capitalization and development of the organization.
    • Execute against the business plans established by the CEO and Board of Directors
    • Collaboration with the core executive team to create and implement strategic objectives.
    • Monitor standards of performance across the organization.
    • Foster effective communications, optimize training, and managerial cooperation.
    • Work with strategic partners to successfully grow the business and strengthen the organization’s presence in the market.
    • Provide regular reporting and executive level feedback regarding: budgets, forecasts, sales performance, finance and corporate operations.
    • Assist subordinates in preparation of proposals and presentations.
    • Capitalize the company as necessary to meet performance objectives. 
    • Manage expenses, resource allocation, travel and similar to meet budgetary guidelines.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

    SUMMARY OF JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA degree in business or related field, Master’s degree preferred
    • 10+ or more years of healthcare executive experience required
    • Experience working with a board of directors and set the agenda for quarterly board meetings
    • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
    • Basic understanding of banking, accounting, and financial principles
    • Understanding of payroll, account receivable, inventory management and similar
    • Proven experience in financial management
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Excellent leadership and highly effective communication skills.
    • Candidate must be willing to be located in the Cincinnati, OH region
    • Willingness to travel
