Medex Surgical (www.medexsurgical.com) is the exclusive distributor of Acumed orthopedic products in Texas (see www.acumed.net).
The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) actively assists more senior sales representatives in their day to day activities servicing surgeons and surgical facilities. The ASR covers cases, daily delivers and returns inventory to and from surgical facilities, and conducts sales activities at the direction of the more senior representatives in the territory.
The ASR develops and maintains productive working relationships with surgeons, surgical facility administrators and operating room staff, researches and studies information on new products to gain technical knowledge to improve the experience in the operating room for the surgeon and enhance patient outcomes, and works with surgeons and operating room staff on a daily basis to ensure the surgeon's and facility's needs are met.

Other responsibilities & duties include:
Daily delivery and pick up of surgical sets used at hospitals & surgery centers.
Ensure that surgeons and accounts are serviced in accordance with Company's standards and policies.
Obtain customer feedback and continually work to improve the customer's experience.
Resolve customer requests or other issues courteously and in a timely manner.
Effectively work as part of a team environment by enthusiastically assisting fellow employees when needed.
Proactively identify and seek out opportunities to grow the business.
Complete required sales reports, expense and regulatory records accurately and promptly.
Mastery of anatomy, procedures, products and application as evidenced by 90% pass rate on all vendor tests or internal assessments.
Conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner, and in accordance with manufacturer and customer code of conduct.
