APPROPRIATE CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 6 Mos. ORTHOPEDIC SALES EXPERIENCE AND FAMILIARITY WITH OPERATING ROOM PROTOCOL AND EXPERIENCE COVERING CASES IN THE OPERATING ROOM
Medex Surgical (www.medexsurgical.com) is the exclusive distributor of Acumed orthopedic products in Texas (see www.acumed.net).
The Sales Representative actively services orthopedic surgeons and surgical facilities. The Sales Representative covers cases, daily delivers and returns inventory to and from surgical facilities, and conducts sales activities to grow the business in the territory.
The Sales Representative develops and maintains productive working relationships with surgeons, surgical facility administrators and operating room staff. Researches and studies information on new products to gain technical knowledge to improve the experience in the operating room for the surgeon and improve patient outcomes. Actively works with surgeons and operating room staff on a daily basis to ensure the surgeon's and facility's needs are met.
The pace is fast and 10 or even 12 hour days are not uncommon.
The Sales Representative will work as part of the Austin team and participate in the weekend call schedule.
