    JOB PURPOSE

    The EDI Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for the enrollment and troubleshooting of all EFT, ERA for providers and/or groups, practices, ancillary services and billing tax ID numbers and maintenance of required information.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish relationship with all clients, payers, clearinghouse
    • Will act as liaison between client, clearinghouse, payer, MCX
    • Create and maintain manual with specifications by payer for all EFT/ERA processes
    • Collects, updates, maintains necessary provider/group information and documentation to ensure complete EFT/ERA enrollments
    • Prepare, complete, submit, and follow-up on all EFT/ERA applications for all payers in a timely and comprehensive manner
    • Verifies provider and group information with all payers
    • Review new requests for enrollment to verify enrollment status and determine action required by set follow up date
    • Enter, update, and verify provider and/or group information in provider enrollment software system
    • Coordinates information for all EFT/ERA enrollment and termination of all providers, practices and ancillary services for all billing tax ID numbers
    • Contributes to the departmental process and procedures with a collaborative approach.
    • Performs other duties as requested

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred
    • Minimum three years of provider enrollment and accounts receivable experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, CAQH

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area
    • Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear
    • The employee must be able to follow directions, to get along with others, and handle stress
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
