We are looking for an exceptional candidate to be our HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the requisite experience and skills, be willing to share knowledge and support their team, and to collaborate with executive management and various colleagues. MEDI is conveniently located in Whitsett, NC nestled between Greensboro and Burlington near I40/I85. Our facility has over 200 employees including production, distribution, sales, and office staff. We also have over 60 offsite sales employees located throughout the USA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business and departmental goals
Enhances the organization’s human capital by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Maintains the work structure by routinely reviewing and updating job requirements and job descriptions to maintain compliance with related laws and regulations.
Supports hiring managers and HR staff to ensure a compliant recruiting, testing, interviewing, and selection process; counsel managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyzes exit interviews; and recommends changes or other enhancements.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital, including leading creative recruitment strategies
Ensures the orientation and training programs are engaging and prepares employees for success.
Assist in coordinating the compensation pay plan; reviews pay survey data, recommends pay ranges for new positions, etc.
Leads and manages the employee performance review process; trains managers to coach, counsel, and discipline employees; successfully facilitates management-employee conferences; hears and resolves grievances; and monitors the effectiveness of the process.
Oversees the coordination and implementation of all the employee benefits programs; assists in the communication of benefits, is knowledgeable of benefit trends and new options, recommends benefit programs, ensures compliance with processing of offered benefit enrollments and claims as well as protected leave management.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures; ensures all company HR policies are applied consistently
Retains historical human resource records by ensuring compliance with the electronic file management, ensures data integrity.
Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Design and implement employee retention strategies, including wellness programs, incentives, etc.
Perform other job-related duties as directed

EDUCATION
Bachelors in Human Resources or related field
LICENSES/CERTIFICATION
Preferred - PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
