That's why we're looking for a creative, articulate, organized, and self-motivated Content Strategist/Copywriter (contract to perm) to help us deliver clear, compelling content across the entire digital ecosystem.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate and motivate: Work with account strategists, art directors, designers, and developers to create compelling content for our clients that inspires audiences to get involved
    • Think logically: Evaluate existing website content and make recommendations for streamlining, editing, sourcing, or creating new content to achieve our clients' communications goals, while also creating a user-friendly experience for the reader
    • Be flexible: Write long and short form copy for a variety of channels, personas, and market segments; quickly understand each client's unique positioning and objectives, and be able to switch between voices and formats easily
    • Dream big: Contribute ideas to brainstorming and concepting sessions for brand campaigns and activations
    • Get tactical: Write brand guidelines, marketing documents, and other materials for clients and internal Media Cause initiatives; provide proofreading and editing support
    • Stay curious: Keep an ear and an eye on trends, best practices, and opportunities to bring new ideas to the team and our clients, while constantly adding new skills to your own arsenal

    YOU MAY BE QUALIFIED IF:

    • You're a digital native, with 3-5 years experience as a writer or content strategist in a marketing, advertising, or non-profit environment
    • Your verbal communication skills are as sharp as your written ones
    • You're able to understand and execute against a creative or project brief with ease, but aren't afraid to ask questions or turn to others for help
    • You've got the flexibility to write across multiple voices and marketing channels: paid digital, social, mobile, newsletter, landing pages, blog posts, etc.
    • You have a strong understanding of SEO and experience integrating into compelling messaging
    • You thrive under tight deadlines, bring a positive attitude to every assignment, pay attention to the details, and can juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat
    • You're collaborative, ambitious, open-minded, and eager to learn
    • You're a genuinely good human
