    As we continue to grow, Media Cause is looking for a smart, talented, ambitious, and eager Junior Designer to help us expand our creative capacity while expanding your own skill set.

    This position has the flexibility to start remote, but ideally, you be excited to join us in-person, a few days a week, in our in Atlanta or San Francisco office once we're all back 

    WHO YOU ARE:

    The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of digital design experience in an agency or similar creative setting, and a strong desire to help change the world. If you also work fast and can think on your feet, pay as much attention to deadlines as visual details, thrive on solving problems, have a passion for helping teammates succeed, and are a constant sponge of design trends and digital best practices, this role may be for you. Nonprofit experience is a bonus, but not required, because we're also here to show you the ropes.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Design: Create, redesign, or revise digital assets across a variety of platforms, including: websites, landing pages, banner ads, social media content, emails, brand identity/logos, brand guidelines, presentation decks, infographics and iconography. Print and out-of-home work is also an occasional need! 
    • Collaborate: Work with senior designers, art directors, creative leads, developers, and the account team to ensure all assets clearly communicate the client's objectives, and are completed on time and on budget.
    • Support: Take on additional creative assignments or tasks for internal marketing efforts or client projects as needed, including sourcing photography and iconography, resizing images, updating presentations and digital production.

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment (internships and freelance work included!)
    • Degree/certificate in new media/digital design, graphic design, or art direction, or equivalent work experience
    • Solid portfolio of work across a variety of digital platforms
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
    • Comfortable following direction, receiving feedback, and asking questions
    • Ability to collaborate with others in the Creative Strategy and Design discipline, as well as with Project Managers and Account Strategists
    • Have a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, and digital standards, and can make informed recommendations to improve the work. Illustration skills are a plus, as well!
    • Must be able to check your ego at the door: must be a team player, ready to jump into any request, and eager to support the agency in any way possible 
    • Preferred platform skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision. Figma and other UX, design, video editing, animation platforms, as well as basic CSS/HTML5 knowledge are a bonus.
    • Must be ambitious, curious, and a genuinely good human
