    Media Cause consists of 40 full-time employees along with a network of talented consultants. We have offices in Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta and San Francisco (reopening post COVID) as well as a few team members who work remote permanently. Our agency has grown in size every year since our founding, landing on the Inc. 5000 list for the fastest growing private companies in America twice.     We're looking for a new member of our team to help drive growth with small and mid-sized nonprofits (organizations with communication budgets under $100k/annually). This role will report directly to our Co-Founder and has growth opportunities aligned with the continued scale of the agency. If you are someone with direct experience selling to nonprofits and are looking to join a team of smart, compassionate, impact-driven professionals, then we want to hear from you.

    Job Requirements:

    • 2+ years of digital marketing agency sales experience (bonus points for experience selling specifically to the nonprofit sector) 
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal); confidence to present on behalf of Media Cause to nonprofit leaders
    • Competency and understanding of digital marketing strategies: paid media, Google Ad Grants, social media, SEO, email, and lead generation.
    • Results driven with a business/financial acumen
    • CRM experience, Hubspot preferred
    • A positive can do attitude combined with an ability to problem solve and navigate around any roadblock
    • High personal accountability and pride in your work
    • Team player that puts the success of the team first
    • A passion to make a difference, not just make money (although we're here to help you do both)

    Day-to-day Responsibilities:

    • Cold prospecting through LinkedIn, cold emailing, and other innovative way to introduce Media Cause to perspective partners
    • Maintaining relationships with nonprofit leaders in your sales pipeline
    • Managing inbound sales funnel (we are fortunate to have a great marketing team that drives great inbound leads through SEO)
    • Proposal / presentation creation using Google Slides
    • Collaboration with marketing team on lead generation campaigns and collateral creation
    • Working with Media Cause strategy and execution experts to identify new service lines and opportunities
    • Maintaining sales reports with a focus on developing insights for reaching more prospective partners and 
    • Working with account teams to transition account from sales to account management

    This is a salaried role with guaranteed commissions for the first 6-months as you become familiar with our culture, processes and selling techniques.
